Event Horse Owners

I'm very lucky to have a great group of owners who have supported  me over the last few years. New owners are always welcome and we're happy to discuss various options such as the below syndicates.

The aim of a syndicate is to allow people the enjoyment of owning and being involved with a top class horse without the full expense. As such, the syndicate will not focus upon profit or the sale of these valuable horses unless the circumstances warrant.

In each syndicate, I am offering a percentage of ownership. I will  look for members to buy a total of five shares in a horse and then to contribute to the running costs of the horse, which will be split between the syndicate members. In return, I am offering part-ownership of very talented and valuable horses, VIP hospitality at competitions in the UK and Europe, and close involvement with a small, dedicated professional team, as we strive to compete at the very highest levels of the sport.

I am currently looking for synicate members for Latini and Twist. 

Example Syndicate - Novice Horse 

No. of Shares: 5

Cost per share: Will vary depending on purchase price
Monthly running cost: £200 (this would be slightly higher for horses above Novice level due to higher entry fees)

Basic Syndicate Agreement

I want to keep the rules of the syndicate simple. There will be a written agreement between the owners and myself. To summarize the basic elements:

• The syndicate is created to combine a group of like-minded people who have a love of three-day eventing.
• I, Georgie Davies, will be the rider. The focus is on enabling the partnership of horse and rider to compete at the very highest levels of world class sport. I will be responsible for the training and competition schedule of the horse.
• This is a non-profit focused syndicate, motivated to develop a horse to progress to the highest level of competition. The horse may only be sold if I believe it is warranted.
• 50% of the any prize money will be divided equally amongst the syndicate members and be used to subsidise the running costs of the horse. Subsequent savings will reduce the annual contribution.
• No one person or organisation may own more than two shares in any one syndicate.
